PLAYER PROTOCOLS
Arrival at the Tennis Center
- Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday: 8:00a-1:00p; 3:00p-8:30p, Saturday/ Sunday: 8:00a-2:00p
- Players will enter through the marked gate to the left of the front doors
- The clubhouse presently off-limits, and doors to remain locked
Checking in/ booking courts/ court assignments
- Members may book court(s) as before, up to 2 days prior to by phone (727-823-2225) starting at 7:45a; non members may book courts they day they wish to play
- Members may book no more than 3 courts
- You must provide first AND last names of those on your court(s)
- Check-in card swipe at the open/marked window of the Pro Shop
- No more than 1 person checking in at a time; Keep Safe Social Distancing while waiting in line (every 6’)
- Cash/ checks/ credit cards accepted
- Players are required to wear masks or a face covering upon entering, checking in, going to your court, using the bathrooms, and leaving the facility.
- Seating has been placed 6’ apart on the deck, but we encourage you to go to your court.
Playing tennis
- Singles or doubles
- Players to provide their own water, ice, towels (paper towels are recommended), and hand sanitizer, chairs may be brought
- Brushing and lining, following play is required
- Safe social distancing
- Members policing themselves
- Play at your own risk
- Not feeling well?…STAY HOME!!
Leaving the Tennis Center
- Bathrooms will be open, but showers will be unavailable
- Players to exit SPTC through the marked gates, along the side of court #1
- Clean your shoes in provided foot trays;
- No used ball drop off; Please take your tennis balls with you
Congratulations to St Pete junior players, Frankee and Lesslee Hendricks. They play for the Seminole High School tennis team. Frankee won her district in the number 1 position, Lesslee won her district in the number 2 position, and together they won their district for the number 1 doubles team. Their team also won the district championship and will go to regionals next week, but Frankee and Lesslee will be going to state automatically as a doubles team and Frankee will also go individually for the number 1 singles. ...
