What is Pickleball?

Pickleball is a sport that originated in the United States back in 1965.  The game uses a smaller version of a Tennis court (often taking an existing Tennis court and adding additional lines), with a slightly lower net.  Players use small paddles typically made of aluminum or graphite with a plastic ball that has holes, closely resembling a whiffle ball.

Is there Pickleball at SPTC?

At this time, we do not currently have any Pickleball lines on any of our courts.  If this is something you’re interested in, please let the front desk staff know so we can look into it!
